What I bought with my No7 Voucher: No7 Beautiful Brows Pencil

Hello! Don't you just love the £5 No7 vouchers Boots regularly gives out? I do! It gives me a reason to buy something from an otherwise slightly expensive brand, if anything! When I went in last week, I was given a voucher and I had planned to buy a highlighter, after browsing the range and not finding what I had planned to get, however, I decided to get the No7 Beautiful Brows Pencil in 10 Brown/Black.

To be completely honest I didn't quite know what I was going for or getting since I didn't do any research on this at all. I don't even own any eyebrow pencil since I usually just use a matt eyeshadow since my brows are quite thick! It takes quite a bit of effort though, and I figured a pencil would be easier... plus it came with a brush on one end. ^___^

The pencil is really creammmmyyyyyy and glides on really smoothly. It's texture does lead me to believe that it is prone to shattering if dropped one too many times (or even a handful of times) so it is something that I think needs watching out for this, if not all pencils.

While I could easily blend this out with my finger when applying, I find that it lasts quite well throughout the day once it sets, meaning that it doesn't come off with sweat or anything, phew!

However, I'm not sure if I got the right colour at all - my fiance was rushing me so I grabbed what I thought would be the best match. The brown does have quite red undertones, however, so it looks really weird if I used to make really defined lines, but if I use it lightly or blend it out a little while filling my brows it isn't too bad at all. A problem which would not have occurred if I tested them out properly in store! =(
